Glassworks 2000 ltd trading as Main Glassworks has for many years been Wellingtons leader in design and manufacture of traditonal and modern leadlights, under the management of Neil Chater. Our potential product range has recently been expanded with the addition of Justin Sane whose experience and qualifications add to our creativity and it's execution. We are not bound by traditional methodologies and existing restrictions of design - we have a definite 'can-do' approach and no job is too hard for us.

Situated in the character suburb of Newtown in Wellington our premises are in a very central location to service our clients in the greater Wellington Region. While our clients are welcome to visit our premises, mostly we do on-site consultations so that we can understand your exact needs - we find this is essential in providing the very best advice to our clients. We can arrange the consultations outside of normal working hours to suit your time constraints. 

Our Vision

The vision of Main Glassworks is hard to put into words.  When you work in such a visually exciting medium of colour, texture and design, mere words won't do justice for the experience we feel on the completion of each panel we create. The best words we can offer is that a panel created by Main Glassworks will provide a legacy of joy and light whilst enhancing your investment.
